A Poem. A Memory

I like this poem since senior high school. Wrote it down on a maple leaf in autumn 1995 when I studied in college, USA. Today, I read it again in 师妹 blog and decided to post it.

江 城 子
苏 轼 乙卯正月二十夜记梦

十年生死两茫茫，不思量，自难忘。
千里孤坟，无处话凄凉。
纵使相逢应不识，尘满面，鬓如霜。
夜来幽梦忽还乡。小轩窗，正梳妆。
相顾无言，惟有泪千行。
料得年年肠断处：明月夜，短松冈。

The END

Left a message “The END” in my Facebook and MSN. Many friends asked me what doesn’t it meant.

My reply is: END of unhappiness, END of “thinking, confusing and not sure”, END of all the bad thing and looking forward for a new life.

Blows Over

Too many blows over, especially the one today.
I simply cannot work now.

Feel headache and stomach not feeling well too.
Maybe because of feeling sad or emotion sinking down too rapidly, mentally not able to handle and adjust.

天下无敌

总算可以写文华了, 好开心. 全靠这个华文手写笔. 我的华文天下无敌. 一定有人说我脸皮是天下无敌的厚. 哈哈! 哈哈! 哈哈!

师妹 - Farewell - 2008

Today had a farewell lunch with Shi Mei (师妹). She is leaving the company by end of this week. So sad, she is the only one who I can talk nonsense with in this company. (P.s of course I have other friends in the company who I can talk with but for sure we are not talking nonsense.)

师妹, nothing much I can say, wish you all the best in your new career and thanks for the fun time, nonsense, support, courage and many more in the past 1 year.

师妹 was trying to “murder” my wallet. Insisted to have lobster for farewell lunch. Of course, I was happy to treat her. 师妹, if you “DARE” to stay in our company, I treat you lobster lunch everyday for 1 month.

Poor lobster, it wasn’t my idea to kill you and eat you.

This lobster noodle is seriously yummy. I give 4.5 stars out of 5 stars.

This is what we use to encourage ourselves:
努力 发”粪”图墙. 挡我者, 找”屎”.

“Singapore Snow Man”. This is what 师妹 addressed me. We are “Bus Lover”. Meant only “in love and dating” in company’s bus.

Coincidently 师妹 and I bought the same farewell gift for each other. We both agree with this page: I WAS BORN TO WORK HERE. I must have done something really bad in a previous life.
Found that 师妹 has good 审美观 as me. We like photo shooting and like to keep bullshiting about our “excellent” 审美观 and shooting skill.

新加坡的雪人

A Nonsense Maker?

Checked some of my friends blogs and realized that they only update their blogs once a while. Hmm….. why I have so much nonsense to write?

Hong Kong Trip 2008 - Day 2.1

What I hate about my trip in Hong Kong:

1. No sale in April.
2. Typhoon.
3. Flight delayed for 3.5 hours because of typhoon. Worse part was we had to wait in the plane.
4. Heavy rain because of typhoon.
5. Made a bomb in my credit card bills. (This one I can’t blame typhoon.)

Hong Kong Trip 2008 – Day 2

Went to 黄大仙 temple early in a morning with typhoon. Shopping in Hong Kong is much better than in Singapore. Don’t agree? Then you go to Central in HK, look at the size of the shops for luxury goods and you will agree. No wonder my friends and colleagues said people in HK are crazy about Agnes B. It is really everywhere. Fyi, a new shop is going to open in HK airport, Terminal 2.
(Agnes B in Festival Walk. Think is the largest in HK.)This afternoon I concluded the brands I like by sequence:
1. Calvin Klein (I like anything and everything)
2. Prada (I like 90% of the products)
3. SEED (I like the bag and clothes. It copies the design from everywhere. Well done.)
4. Agnes B (1st: accessories. 2nd: clothes)
5. Gucci and Armani (bag)
6. LV? Oh please, no no no no no…………..!!!

Hong Kong Trip 2008 - Day 1

Adventure Trip to Hong Kong
After bought the ferry ticket to Hong Kong, have been rejected to go Hong Kong from Humen – Dongguan. Reason was since Dec 2007; only allow taking ferry and transiting from Hong Kong airport but not entry it. After heard that, I almost fainted.

Didn't have a choice, I needed to take taxi from Humen to Shen Zhen and then take train to Hong Kong. Have heard a lot of stories about taxi driver in China robs and kill passenger.

I was really worry the same thing was going to happen to me. On the way to Shen Zhen, I kept telling the driver I was broke and only left RMB$400 with me which just enough to pay him for the tax fee. I didn’t have any cash already.

Also, did kept reminding him that I did SMS his license plate, name and taxi driver license number to my colleagues in Dongguan, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong. (actually I didn’t SMS) Signal to him was if I was missing, they were going to report to police with his information. I also told him that my colleagues were waiting for me to call them after I reached Shen Zhen train station and made sure I was safe.

Thank God, I reached Hong Kong safely.

Paid more and booked a sea view room. However, the pollution in Hong Kong is so bad, not able to have a clear sea and city view. (Update: 2nd day the typhoon was getting worse. Raining and very strong wind. Same view from hotel room.) Typhoon
I was so “lucky” and met the 1st Typhoon in my life in Hong Kong. This was also the 1st typhoon in HK this year which was unusual early. Usually the 1st typhoon of the year hits HK on June.

Check the tree, can tell how strong the wind was. On my way from Time Square to Agnes B Café, wondering why so many people on the street. They don’t need to work? Nice night view in Hong Kong. Saw this poster. Wondering how 周慧敏 can be as young and pretty as 20 years ago. I can’t believe she is 40 years old. People always in memory. My Love - Shopping

If say China trip was for eating and then Hong Kong trip for sure was for shopping.

No intention to buy anything from Agnes B. However, the service provided by the sale person was so good, so good until I couldn’t say no for the bag and sun glasses he showed to me.

Love this Armani bag. Can adjust the size. In love with singlet. Bought many difference designs.Clothes with special design.The shoes.Some nice jades I bought.

China Trip 2008 - Day 10

Finished My Training Class
Finally finished my 6 days training classes (3 classes) today. A bit tired after everyday kept talking for 8 hours in 6 days.

When going business trip, still have to work as usual because people still look for me when they have issue or query. My backlogs is like a mountain high now.

Took a group photo with my last class students. 1st Try
Guess what is this? Horse? No, is donkey. Tried the donkey dumpling. The taste actually very good. One thing upset me is no1 wanted to try the worm with me. Even i asked the classes, all my stundents rejected my invitaion. I should fail them for the class when they rejected me.

China Trip 2008 - Day 9

Dinner
Can't go out for dinner because almost spent all the RMB$ I have. 2nd time tried the Japanese restaurant in the hotel. For me, a bit sick of it even though the food is very good. Actually I prefer to try some foods that I am not able to find in Singapore or Malaysia.
