14 - 19 Nov: Dongguan

My 3rd destination for this trip was Dongguan. There is a lot of changes in this big city. The streets are cleaner now and the crime rate is dropped.

Conducted 4 days training there. Also, it was good for me to meet up some of my “old” students and old friends there. Human resource is changing very fast in this plant. Almost one year after, most of the people are leave and change new faces.

My students brought me to a restaurant located where used to be a fish village. Now the restaurant is the only building there. Soon, it will disappear to give way to all the model buildings for new developing projects.

The seafood and vegetables are so fresh because it directly from the local firm and from the river. I really enjoyed the place and foods even though it is not a high class restaurant.

12 - 14 Nov: Shanghai

Stayed in Shanghai for 2 nights. Actually there is nothing much to see in Shanghai as I feel. So, end up I just walked here and there @ day time and tried to kill time. Try the famous pao. How disappointed I was. Don't waste your time and join the long Q.

Went to the famous 上海滩十里洋场. Some of the old buildings which built in 1850 are still there. At night with lighting, all of the buildings look beautiful.

When I arrived 上海滩 at 4:30pm, this guy was already waiting to take the night view of Shanghai. We had wait till 6:30pm with cold weather. Damn stupid.

10 - 12 Nov: 2 Nights in Nantong

My 1st stop was in Nantong. Conducting 2 days training there. Already visited the plant for few time and quite familiar with the people there. Everytime the trip to Nantong is much like a gathering with old friends.

Was having dinner with my IT and HR colleagues. We went to the same restaurant that last year we went as well. This is a苗家菜. The foods are nice and good.
As usual, we ordered a lot of foods.

The 毛家菜 i tried. The 2nd one is a famous chickend. Too spicy until i almost "cry".

10 Nov 2010 - Reached Shanghai

This can be considered my 1st business this year. This time went to many place: Nantong, Shanghai, Douggan and Hong Kong. For Shanghai and Hong Kong were for vacation trip.

Don’t feel like going for business trip too frequent. Once in a year is good enough.

Had many expectations for my trip in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

When left Shanghai airport and on the way to Nantong, the sun was falling down. It was only about 4PM.
