Trip in India - Nov 2011

A tired but meaning 2 weeks trip in India. Tired is because everyday have long hour meeting. Meaningful is because able to achieve the objectives for the trip and also meeting people who I usually contact via phone or email but didn’t have chance to meet them. Of course, meeting those old friends in the 2 offices are great.

Still not very get use to eat vegetarian foods even thought most of them are nice. For me, I don’t mind to eat 2 weeks meat curry but not vegetarian foods. Still in a nice hotel at least make me feel better after a long day of work and meeting. After many time of stay experience in India, I still say the same, hotel server in India is the best in the work.

My Beautiful Campus

I always think my Iowa State University campus is one of the beautiful campuses in USA. I always attract by the 4 seasons view and the legendary beliefs.

People believe if you and your love one holding hands and walking 3 rounds by the lake, your love will last forever. Also, on 12pm noon if you walk 3 rounds of the clock tower, it is going to bring you good luck. If you step on the horoscope carves, you are going to fail your next 3 days’ exam.

There are so many beautiful beliefs which add in some species in our study lives.

4 Years Ago and 4 Years Later

4 years later I am coming back to Kochi – India, a peaceful small city in Karana.
Visited the Chinese Fishing Net again. They have been standing since few hundred years ago. This time didn’t have chance to take the river ferry because sunset is at around 6pm at this season.

Not sure why everytime when I am in Kochi, for sure it is the time then I am very pull down. 4 years ago it was, 4 years later it is.

The Stars Behind the Darkness

A fried told me that don’t feel helpless whenever I am in darkness because behind the darkness there are stars always with me. And I saw the stars in the darkness now.

October Rain - 2011

Recently almost rain everyday in the afternoon. Good thing about it is the weather is quite cooling. However, the grey sky and the chill wind are really pulling my mood down, physically and mentally. Fall sick for about a week but the discomfort feeling is just getting stronger and stronger.

Used to think this is a funny song when looked at the name. How can 痛会呼吸??? That’s why never listened to it.

Recently I had a chance to listen to it and realized it is meaningful.

Actually there are many beautiful views surrounded us but we are too rush for our steps and never tried to slow down and look at what we have. In the end we lost all we have because we never appreciated.

Bye Bye Boy and Girl

Fung: 14 Sep 2011. Went to Landon for 3 years study.
Lilian: 15 Sep 2011. Went to Bangkok and settle down.

In 2 days, said good bye to 2 friends. Feel like they are so far away now.

Finally I went Prague. A place where I alywas want to go. It is a very beautiful city. Generally, the living standard is still consider low when compare to some of the cities in Europe.

I like food there there. Believe the foods are very much like Germany foods.

Is She Going To Be A Nightmare For The Parliament?

8 May 2011 was a sad day for GE 2011 and also a sad day for many Singaporean after the result was confirmed for Marine Parade.

I know many of you are upset, angry, frustrated, think it is unfair and it may be a nightmare for the Parliament. However, it is the fact and the true now. regardless we like it or not, she is a member of the Parliament and enjoy the SGD$15k pay per month together with other benefit, allowance and bonus.

May the God Bless Singapore.

Will She Be The JOKE in Parlarment?

Anthoe "STAR" (the joke??) for this this general election is Tin Pei Ling. Since the date she has been introduced till now, more of the people still don't understand "Why Her?" and also not able to get a good answer for "Why Her?".

I really hope she is not going to be a JOKE in Parlarment.

The Star for Singapore GE 2011

NSP's Nicole Seah for sure is the super star for Singapore GE 2011. She is pretty, smart, capable and sweet. Everybody has high expectation on her.

You can tell how high IQ and EQ she has from her answer to this. Nicole seah's response to this is: Thanks for the proposal but I'm married to... the NSP.

7 May 2011 - General Election for Singapore

The number of ballot papers issued as at 5pm was 1,845,290 (83.46%) for all contested electoral divisions. Compare to 5 years ago which only 50%++, this election result can give more accurate figures how people graded the previous government.

5 million people are waiting for the result now. Now is 10:37PM Singapore Time. The 1st result is not yet come out.

Singapore Election Fever

Singapore election is on 7 May. Expected but still surprised to see that there is a very strong opposition team this time.

I don’t think the opposition team is ready to lead the country. However, it is always good to have some (20-30%) opposition in the parliament and monitor the currently government. It is to balance the power between the current government and the opposition party as well.
Try not to end up a very extreme situation like ZERO % opposition in parliament which is I will never agree it is a good situation and healthy.

Glad to see that Singapore election is getting more mature and have more freedom after 40 over years. The movement is not fast but slow is always better than never moved at all.
