Nantong: 6 July 08 - Day 1

After 9 hours of journey, finally I reached Nantong. Before I came here, every1 in the office kept telling me that Nantong is a very “ulu” place. Some even said this is a place where 鸟不生蛋，乌龟不拉屎. However, after I reached here, I found that actually Nantong is not like what others described. Actually this city is quite big.

It has in door stadium (roof can open), huge government office buildings (trust me, the buildings are HUGE), luxury condominium, model hospital, large factory and so on. Somehow many places have 3 lanes traffic. It is much more developed when compare with many “cities” in Malaysia. Of course, please don’t compare it with Tokyo, Paris, Seoul, Shanghai and others big cities.

Next time if any1 comments Nantong is a “ulu” place, think must ask company to send him/her to Senai – Malaysia and location there for 1 year. Then he/she will know what is “ulu” means.

Travel Travel

Tomoorow need to travel again. this time is going to Nantong - China and conduct Business Objects traing again.

After listed down my travel plan for 2008 and I realized that it is really quite a lot.

1) Apr: Donguan – China (2 weeks)
2) Apr: Hong Kong – China ( 2 days 1 night)
3) Jun: Geneva – Switzerland (1 week)
4) July: Nantong – China (2 weeks)
5) July: Sibu Hotboy Kelong – Malaysia (2 days 1 night)
6) Aug: Senai – Malaysia (3 days 2 nights)
7) Sep: Korea (1 week)
8) Sep: Perhetian – Malaysia (4 days 3 nights)
9) Sep: Melaka – Malaysia (1 week)
10) Oct: BKK – Thailand (4 days 3 nights)
11) Nov: Bintan – Indonesia (2 days 1 night)
12) Dec: Cambodian (1 week)

*** most likely need to go to India in quarter 4th.

Kyomomoyama 4th July

Had dinner with HI buddies in Kyomomoyama @ Central and then had drink at Wine Boss. Food in Kyomomoyama is not bad and the price is reasonable. Relaxing place because is spaces. Better to choose window seats because can have a beautiful river view in Clarke Quay.

Insomnia

Have been trying or even forcing myself to sleep for the past 2 hours but I wasn’t manage to do that. Million of issues/problems are attacking me until my head pain like going to explode anytime.

Keep telling myself 本来无一物，何处惹尘埃 but still not able to calm down. Always tell myself that I need to control the situation but not let the situation to control me. However, I failed again.

Do what I like to do when I am not able to sleep: check company’s email and do my work. (You might say: Gosh again? You are really a workaholic.) Don’t know why, I do enjoy reading company email even some of them are dry or even make me frustrated.

Surprised me that I received some photos from my colleague. Didn’t know he did take those photos from the meeting in Geneva. I like those photos. Believe my colleague shooting skill is quite good. Always envy people who has that skill.

***Gosh, is about 4:00AM but I still not able to sleep. Can somebody help?????????

However, now think about it, actually it is quite sad that if you really like some1 but he/she doesn’t know or pretend doesn’t know and you can't speak it out.

An Unacceptable Careless

In Geneva airport after checkin and window shopping, suddenly I found my passport and boarding pass were not with me. Checked my bags and pockets, I couldn’t find them. A bad feeling immediately came across my mind: I lost my passport.

Tried to think back, I knew most likely I left them in one of non-open checkin counter because that was the last time I saw my passport when I put my e-ticket into my laptop bag. However, it was 30 minutes ago. Airport has so many people, I didn't think it was possible that my passport was still there.

Rushing back to the counter with my colleague, we just hoped good luck was with me. When got closed to the counter, I finally released because I saw my passport was on the counter. Thanked God, it was till there.

If I really lost it, I must stay in Geneva and apply a new passport. I don’t mind to stay there but as I know, it is very difficult to get a new Malaysia passport. Even though I able to get a new one but the processing days and the trouble are going to kill me since we know the service standard for Malaysia government officer is “World Class”. Maybe it is more easer and faster for me to get Switzerland citizenship than wait for Malaysia to issue me a new passport.
