Nice To Be Single in Berlin

Glad to know that more and more people are enjoying being single now. For sure, from this article, we understand Berlin - Germany is more advances for enjoying single life.

Berlin has single bar/pub, single restaurant, single cinema and other where only allow single person to go there. Hope soon we can have these kind of single places in Singapore.

The Service Is Suck

This Japanese resturant is location @ the building that behind OG in Somerset where beside Centre Point. It is @ 3rd floor and famous for grilled food.

The food is nice I can say. However, please forget the service. If you are “LUCKY” and serve by a auntie, about 45’s and with glasses, “Congratulation”, you will “BEST” service.

My 1st experience with her was:
1) When ordered food, because all the food names in Japanese so took some time and guesses what the foods are. After asked her for suggestions and made the order. Before she left the table, she gave us a “COMMENT”: It is always Good to be quick and fast when order.” My friend and I looked at each other and wondered what she really tried to tell us.

2) After done with meal and tried to finish a cup of tea. The auntie came and cleaned up the disks. When she was cleaning, she asked us if we needed to order some more. The answer from us was NO and we were trying to finish the tea. After got our answer, the auntie said: If you are done, would you mind to move? There are a LOT OF PEOPLE Queuing outside”. I looked around at the hall where we were, still had 2/3 of empty tables. However, we trusted her, paid the bill and left.
When we got out from the restaurant, there was NO queue at all. Also, there were many empty tables in other halls.

So, if u decide to go there and try the foods there. God Bless you not to serve by the auntie.

My Bday - 2010

When friends asked how I wanted to celebrate my bday this year, answer that had been given was: NO. I don’t want any celebration at all. Actually, as always, I don’t really know what need to be happy about birthday.

Anyway, my 4 lovely friends who gave me a surprise bday celebration the day before my bday. Thanks for the celebration. The cake was yummy. A week before was my Lunar bday. My mom boiled 2 eggs for me. This is a belief from my mon’s family. My grandfather used to tell my mom,
when remove the egg shell on birthday, means removing bad luck away. So, when kids birthday, my mom will boil 2 eggs.
