Saw this posted from her blog which is an OLD song (think is 1996) from 莫文蔚. No sure why she posted this but 99% sure is not because of “他不愛我”. Lol…

Actually it is unfortunate to love some1 who doesn’t love you. However, it is also fortunate because at least you know there is some1 for you to love and your love one does exist.

Anyway, when any of us is having a “他不愛我” issue, it is always a sad story.

Christmas 2008

In Office

Took some Christmas photos with V and HH in office. As usual, V is soooooo cute.

Dinner and drink

After the pork only Japanese dinner, went to LL house for the drinking season. As usual, whole night was drinking, eating, playing game, laughing and getting crazy. Did take a lot of photos. However, some of them are too funny and too wild which not allow to show in public. Now trying to upload the gathering photos in Facebook but only invited people can view because the photos are too hot to show to public. Not yet found out how to do that.

18th Dec is Phang and LL’s bday. A belated celebration for them.

Super Blur King

Today, one of the lucky people who received my Christmas gift told me: I am going to give you something but u can’t get angry, OK?

After that, she returned me the gift that I gave her together with a Christmas gift from her. What she told me was: My gift is useful for your Cambodia trip. About your gift, I can’t accept it because you are not sincere at all. You look carefully at the words on the gift. Hahahah…” After she said that, she couldn’t stop laughing at me.

When I looked the words that she pointed, I almost fainted on my desk. I saw a 3 BIG words: Happy Teacher’s Day.

Oh My God, I really couldn’t believe it. I spent time and shopped for those gifts. I wrapped them and design a nice small card for them. I satisfied with my gift and sincerely gave them to my friends. However, I didn’t see these are some words on the gift.

Now I am very worry about the other gifts I gave away. It is going to be very high chance that my friends will see: Happy Mother’s Day or Happy Father’s Day. If it really happens, sure I will faint.

My "Private" Swimming Pool

Most of the time when I go swimming @ Suntec City, feel like I am in my private swimming pool. I hardly see anyone else there except myself. However, I enjoy this kind of privilege very much because no1 is going to “fight” for the territory with me. Of course, if any accident, then only Buddha can save me.

冬至

在中国古代对冬至很重视，冬至被当作一个较大节日，曾有“冬至大如年”的说法，而且有庆贺冬至的习俗。

《汉书》中说：“冬至阳气起，君道长，故贺。”人们认为：过了冬至，白昼一天比一天长，阳气回升，是一个节气循环的开始，也是一个吉日，应该庆贺。

《晋书》上记载有“魏晋冬至日受万国及百僚称贺……其仪亚于正旦。”说明古代对冬至日的重视。　　现在，一些地方还把冬至作为一个节日来过。北方地区有冬至宰羊，吃饺子、吃馄饨的习俗，南方地区在这一天则有吃冬至米团、冬至长线面的习惯。各个地区在冬至这一天还有祭天祭祖的习俗。

The Date We Met After 13 Years (3)

Mayumi and Noko are leaving @ 1AM on Monday. These few days I did show them some famous places and foods in Singapore. Even though I am a bit tired but very happy.

Today when said good bye to Mayumi, she asked: Can you give me a hug? When we hugged, we know our next meet up may be going to be another 13 years later or is NEVER going to be happen again. Actually I do feel a little bit sad but it is life.

After so many years, I visited Underwater World again. Strange thing is after so many years (at least 15 years), it seems like nothing changed at all.

Noko wanted to visit Clarke Quay.

Now I know it is really not easy for being a tour guide. Fortunately I am only a part time tour guide because of friends visit.

Today was shopping at town area & orchard. Also went to Night Safari. For Night Safari, my comment as what I gave to Singapore Flyer: DON’T WASTE YOUR $.

Thing hate in Night Safari:
The bad smell from animal’s dropping. It really makes me cut my breath.

Thing that worry me when when I was taking the tram and had a jungle trip:
1. See a dinosaur. The feeling that I had when taking the tram is same as when I watched the movie: Jurassic Park.
2. See a vampire. The jungle very much like those in the movie where vampire hidden.

The Day We Met After 13 Years

Met Mayumi today in Marina Mandarin Hotel Lobby after 13 years. Time is flying too fast, the 1st time we met, I was only 20 years old and just stared my college life. (Oops, then people can guess I am 21 years old now. hahahah...!) She went to USA and studied English after working for few years.

Today only showing Mayumi and Noko the places near their hotel. Realized that I am a big country pumpkin. I didn’t know SunTec Fountain of Wealth has performance every night. They 1st meal in Singapore: Chicken rice and Laksa becuase they have never tried them. Frankly speaking, the rice I cook is much better than people sell in Food Republic. Too bad Mayumi can't eat seafood. Otherwise can let them try chili crab. Merlion, great to see u again. The church next to Raffle City MRT. What is it name? The flying Christmas trees in Suntec.

My Company's Desk

After join this company for 19 months and 24 days, my desk is getting pack. Reason is I have put more and more stuffs on my desk.

相识罢了

我们都了解，人与人的相识相知，并不在于时间的长短，相见的次数。所以才会有酒逢知己千杯少，话不投机半句多。所以，别再问我，与某人时常见面，一定是熟络的朋友。对不起，答案是一个...不。理由很简单，很多人我几乎天天都见，但是我连他们名字也不知道。我想也没必要知道。

疼你的责任

When he asked me to take care of her, I replied: "I do my best for sure even though you didn't ask." A reply without hesitate.

It reminds me a song 疼你的责任. I used to tell myself that I would like to have that 责任 to 疼 someone. This time is difference; the 责任 to 疼 a friend and 疼 for our friendship. I really hope she is 最快乐,最轻松,最自然的人.

My Gold TV

“What channel you want to watch?” This is what I ask people when I show them my gold TV. There are 2 kinds of response. Majority responses are: Negative.

Positive
1) So cute and unique. Where did you get this?
2) Very fashionable. Nice

Negative
1) Wow, so “song” (inelegant in Hokian).
2) Please lar, like a old uncle watch.
3) What brand is it? Eeee...... sounds so cheap. Never heard about it.
4) Hmmm… cheap thing right? You buy it in the night market and 3 for $10?
5) Doesn’t match your image.

Anyway, I like it very much. It is cute and special. I don't mind it is cheap and not branded. As long as I like it. Why I need to care what others say?

Extra Butter, Please

I really love butter. Everyway I go, if there is a chance, I must eat a lot and a lot of butter. I love the butter in Europe and can eat it without bread. Too bad it is fattening.

Went a a Hong Kong Cafe in town. Added $0.20 for extract butter. Did keep mention to the waitress: I want EXTRA butter. A LOT of butter. End up I really got EXTRA butter.

When LL saw it, she immediately said: Oh My God. Think the butter did frighten her. herhahahaha....

My Secret Recipes 2 – Abalone and Pig Stomach Soup

Preparation for abalone and pig stomach soup

1.Put the dry abalone (4 pieces about hand size each) into hot water and leave it there for 1 hours 2. Wash the pig stomach with water; fry them/it (if you buy a whole stomach without cut) with 2 tea spoons of oil for 3 minutes. 3. Wash the stomach with water after fried.
4. Cut the pork stomach and abalone into small pieces (1cm x 5 cm size) 5. Prepare about 3 big soup bowls of chicken soup.
6. Cook the abalone and pig stomach with chicken soup for 3.5 to 4 hours with 1-2 full soup spoons white pepper. (if you like more spicy, put more white paper)7. Cook the abalone and pig stomach until they are soft. 8. Put some vegetable into the soup. Recommended vegetable is cabbage. 9. Put some meat balls or fish balls if you want. 10. Try the soup before you put any salt.
11. Serve the soup with Chinese parsley.
