Pilipino Food

Personally I recommend this Pilipino restaurant. It also highly recommended by my Pilipino friend. The food is authentic and cheap. Not a luxury restaurant but is the good place to try for Pilipino food.

The beef bone soup. Very nice but a bit oily.

So Many Familiar Faces

Attended Fly Entertainment 10th anniversary celebration, a company own by Irene Ang. Saw many familiar faces that I used to see in TV and movie. That moment, they just in front of me.

Don’t think I am excited when I saw the “stars” (my friend commented those actors and actresses are "STAR") but it is a new experience for me to attend this kind of event which I never been.

Our Bday in October 2009

A early Bday celebration before my 2 weeks trip in China. Otherwise, I would be in Singapore on the actual day. Nice to the Bday with other Bday girls and body.

Nice cup cake from my HP ex-colleague. She can make good and delicious cake.

3 October boys and girl. Me and my AW cheese cup cake. For sure must have a group photo. The restaurant and the food.

中秋节

中秋节，人圆月圆的日子。从中学开始，就觉得中秋节己不再是一个好玩的节日。小时候，早在中秋节的前几个星期，全村的小孩己开始准备灯笼。自己作的和买的都有。然后在节日前的两个星期，己经有大群的小孩提著灯笼全村的漫步。有时还唱歌。一般上都唱: 当我们同在一起。

但是，慢慢的，当人们开始搬出村子到城市去，村里的小孩就越耒越少。今年的中秋，我看不见有人提灯笼了。每次的中秋，都会想爸爸每年都会好我准备一个大灯笼。

以前家家户户都会拜月神，今年，左邻右舍，只有我拜月神。婆婆还在时，她会准备蒸好的小芋头和凌角。还有柚子，水果，月饼和月光饼耒拜月神。然后一家人会吃着拜了神还后的食物，聊天与看电视。

现在婆婆不在，只要中秋我在家，我一定会准备同样的个食品耒拜月神。这是传统，这是文化，这是根。

天气不好，月色也不太明亮。每一年在拜月神时，我都会点上灯笼。

A Suggestion for Late Dinner in ION

Found this Japanese restaurant in ION when really didn’t have much choices after 10:00PM.

Surprisingly, the food is good. When serve, the rice is still warm. You may consider next time when you are looking for food in ION. Last order is @ 10:30PM.

Poor in Heart

A friend told me that he might considered himself is poor because after paid for some bills with huge amount, he only left 4 digits in his bank. From 1 angle, if a 30++ years old man who has only 4 digits in bank, he can consider a poor guy.

However, look from another angle, he earns 13K++ per month, stay in a $1.4 million house, have a $900K property to rent out or sale, own a new Mercedes-Benz, have some companies share with high value on hand, can I consider he is poor? Maybe I can. He is poor in heart and in mind.

The most tragic thing for a person is not he/she is financially poor but is poor in heart or poor in mind.

My 1st Food Trip in ION Orchard

ION Orchard has opened for many months but I only used the under pass and never really shopped there before. Personally I don’t like the layout of Ion Orchard. I feel it “messy”. Today gave myself a 1st trip for food there. Nice food and tea I can find there. Glad ION does not disappoint me with food. The salad is sooooooo GOOD.The salmon and soba.
The tea, dessert and environment are good in TWG.
