My Secret Recipes 1 – Chicken Rice

Preparation for rice

1. Cut 3 pieces of garlic and 1 small red onion. Fry them with 1 soup spoon full of oil till turn golden color.
2. Put the rice (after washed) and fry for 5 minutes. 3. Put the rice into the rice cooker.
4. Put 2 pieces of gingers (2 inches long), 8 pieces of garlic and pandan leaves. . Must break the garlic and gingers. 5. Add some chicken soup 6. Put one and half tea spoon of salt into the rice (for 6 people serving) 7. Cook the rice
8. Rice is ready
Preparation for chicken

1. Get a 1.5 KG whole chicken and clear it
2. Apply some salt on the chicken
3. Break 2 pieces of gingers (3 inches long) and put them into the chicken4. Boil some water (about 3.5 big soup bowls)
5. When water is boiling, put the chicken into the pot and cover it. The water must be able to cover the chicken when put the chicken in to the pot6. Let the chicken to be boiled for 8 minutes. Turn off the fire. Leave the chicken in the pot for 2 hours. DO NOT open the cover. 7. After 2 hours, take the chicken out. It is well cooked. 8. Rub some sesame oil on the chicken 9. Cut the chicken and decorate with Chinese parsley

Preparation for chili sauce

1. Cut 5 red chilies into half and remove the seeds.
2. Break 4-5 garlic and 1 pieces of gingers (3 inches long)
3. Put them all together into blender and blend them together.
4. Add some chicken soup and chicken oil with the chili.
5. Put 3 limes’ juice, 1 tea spoon of salt and 1 tea spoon of sugar (this is depending on what kind of taste you prefer. You can make it sweeter, salty or sourer)
Preparation for ginger sauce

1. Cut 2 pieces of gingers (3 inches long)
2. Put them together into blender and blend them.
3. Add some chicken soup and chicken oil with the ginger. Put 1 tea spoon of salt and half tea spoon of sugar (this is depending on what kind of taste you prefer. You can make it sweeter or salty)
