Cambodia : 2008 to 2009 (Day 5-7)

Day 5-7 we were in Phnom Penh. Decided to put these 3 days journey together since we didn’t visit too many places.

FCC (Foreign Correspondents Club), 363 Sisowath Quay.
Modern colonial-style charm, superb views of the river and is a favourite expat hang-out that does particularly good desserts.

Raya Palace
It is not a huge palace when compare to others. Nothing much to mention except the diamond, jade and gold that got my attention.

忘忧树, Buddha (释迦摩尼 ) was born under same kind of tree. You can find the same tree in Singapore Zoo and Botanic Garden.
The S.21 and Killing Field
To show respect to the victims and hope they can rest in peace, I didn’t take any photos of the victim’s pictures in S.21 and the skulls in the Killing Field.

S.21

Killing Field

The person who stood in center was Pol Pot, who killed millions of people in Cambodia, especially he tried to eliminate the children that time. Heard that he ate human meat and organs.
